Islamic Funeral Ceremony
We understand the deep sorrow and pain associated with the loss of a loved one. Our Islamic Center staff and Imam are here to support you during this difficult time. We wish to ensure that the funeral rites are conducted appropriately and respectfully according to Islamic traditions.
For a meaningful and orderly ceremony, we kindly request adherence to the following guidelines:
- Ensure that all attendees dress modestly, respecting the sanctity of the Islamic Center and the solemnity of the occasion.
- Arrive at the center at the designated time. Punctuality is essential to maintain the schedule of prayers and other funeral rites.
- If there are any specific cultural or familial traditions you wish to incorporate, please discuss these with the Imam in advance.
- Photography or videography may not be appropriate at Islamic funerals. Please respect the wishes of the family and the religious guidelines.
- If possible, provide a list of immediate family members or close friends who might want to participate in the final rites or prayers.
- As a sign of respect, please switch off or silence mobile devices during the ceremony.
- Please maintain a calm and serene demeanor within the premises, considering the feelings of the bereaved family and other attendees.
- After the ceremony, please leave the premises in a tidy and orderly condition.

Also there’s a women’s catch up at 10.30am on Sundays. Wudu facilities are clean and modern, nice and spacious.”
